Santiago Carrera was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1982. He has dedicated exclusively to photography since he was 20 years old.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

For 8 years he worked and taught at the Diego Ortiz Mugica Studio. Between 2010 and 2013 he made different productions for Marcos L\u00f3pez. He attended the work clinic with Julieta Escard\u00f3. <\/span>
\n<\/span>His work was selected in the \u00abArte x Arte\u00bb prize, in \u00abPeople of my City\u00bb from Banco Ciudad, in \u00abIta\u00fa Visual Arts 2016\u00bb and in the FNA Visual Arts Award in 2018.
\nHe was awarded at the National Salon of Visual Arts in 2009 and obtained the \u00abFelifa Dot\u00bb award for the publication of Latin American independent author photography books in 2014.<\/span>
\n<\/span>In May 2016, my book \u00abUnderwater\u00bb was selected for the 10×10 American Photobook Exhibit at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh. Since 2017 it has been part of a complete collection in the Hirsch Library of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
\nIn 2016 and 2019, he held individual exhibitions at the \u00abDoppia V\u00bb gallery in Switzerland and in 2018 he was part of the \u201c6.7 GB\u201d exhibition at CWS, Museum of Contemporary Art in Torun, Poland.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
